Anastasia’s professional expertise includes M&A, corporate law, banking and finance, insolvency and restructuring. Anastasia regularly advises clients on the acquisition of the companies and structuring of the business operations in Russia. Anastasia has advised many foreign companies and banks in complex restructuring projects, including dissolutions of the joint ventures, as well as in the insolvency proceedings. Anastasia has further managed significant number of loan finance documentation.


Anastasia’s experience (including experience from the previous firms) includes:

advising PPF in connection with the restructuring of its portfolio of companies in joint venture with Slovak Eastfield group, consisting of various real estate and development projects in the Russian Federation, including wineries and hotels, with the value exceeding 100 million EUR

advising PPF in connection with the sale of the Russian non-state pension fund NPF Generali PPF to Investment Group Russian Funds

advising Czech Export Bank in relation to the several bankruptcy proceedings of its debtors and collateral providers active in the glass production sphere in Russia

advising KOVOSVIT MAS in connection with the joint venture with MTE Group established for the production of the heavy machinery in Azov, Russia, including the long-term protection of the interests KOVOSVIT MAS as the shareholder

advising Generali PPF in connection with the sale of the Russian non-state pension fund Generali PPF to Investment Group Russian Funds, оnе of the largest national provider of brokerage, asset management, investment-banking, pension fund and insurance services

advising WOOD & Company, one of the leading Czech investment companies focused on European emerging markets, on the spin-off of its subsidiary, a Russian professional stockbroker company

advising Home Credit B.V. in connection with the sale a 100% stake in PPF Insurance, a company offering a broad range of insurance services, to NPF Blagosostoyanie Group

advising PPF in connection with the acquisition of the real estate project near Rumyanstevo village for the construction of a complex of the office buildings

Anastasia graduated from International Independent University for Political and Ecological Sciences in 2005. She joined BBH Moscow in 2008 and in 2013 she became partner of the firm. In 2017 Anastasia, together with Jiří Štěrba, established Moscow-based law firm STERBATOMASHEVSKAYA.
